About ChairWatch

We're on a mission to make professional business management accessible to every service provider, from solo practitioners to multi-location enterprises. Start free, scale as you grow.

Built for the Community

ChairWatch began in New York City, born from the vision of William West, a firefighter by trade who noticed, like so many of already do, that countless beauty professionals, barbers, and independent service providers were relying on outdated, complicated, and overpriced booking systems. He knew there had to be a better way.

Determined to create a smarter, simpler, and more empowering platform, William connected with Allan Thompson, a skilled software architect from the world of datacenters and mission-critical systems who happened to attend the same church in Queens. During the years of real-world testing, Loïc Ngou, a gifted software developer from Cameroon, Africa, joined and brought creative design and technical polish. Together, they transformed Will's ideas into a living, breathing app that truly served the people behind the chair.

Instead of chasing investors, we listened to the providers. Every suggestion became an innovation, every challenge an opportunity. ChairWatch grew quietly working closely with the very providers that we serve. A breakthrough came from the Nail Industry starting with the Queen of Nails herself, from Detroit, Michigan as the first major professional to adopt the platform. That partnership opened the floodgates. Nail techs across the country began to discover ChairWatch, sharing their feedback and ideas for how to make the app even better.

That community-driven spirit turned ChairWatch into something much more than a booking tool; it became a movement built on empowerment, flexibility, business and community. Today, ChairWatch is still self-funded, self-driven, and community-focused, allowing the us to move fast, stay adaptable, and build exactly what providers need, instead of what investors demand. And now, with exciting collaborations with ZaneyyNails and later with Marie Nails, the platform is taking its biggest leap yet introducing groundbreaking features that serve the modern beauty professional, salon owner, and educator.

ChairWatch is the next evolution in how professionals connect, grow, and thrive, powered by innovation, shaped by community, and grounded in the belief that every provider deserves the tools to build the business of their dreams.
